Update

Whats new, since I haven't posted in a month! First and foremost Amanda and Garrett both left in August. Amanda went to South Carolina and Garrett went home to California. They are both missed. I wish they would have stayed a little bit longer! Its now just me and Niki holding down the fort at the Ridge. The weather is getting cold and wet again to my great dislike. Fortunately we will be closing Hurricane Ridge on October 18th and will hopefully be heading east the next morning. Which means we only have a few weeks left!! WOO! I'm ready to come home now if you haven't noticed. As cool as living in Washington for 5 and a half months has been, I want to go home and see my puppy, and all you guys who actually enjoy reading these posts.

Mama I'm coming home!!

Yes I will be leaving the Pacific Northwest but only for a few days! I'm coming home to Ohio to visit amongst other things. I'm very excited but I'm not anticipating flying by myself.

I posted some pictures of the things we've been doing the past few weeks. The pictures of the beach are of Rialto in La Push. The island is James Island. We went camping there and slept on rocks and froze the entire night. We still had fun though. Amanda made eggs and bacon in the morning over the campfire, the bacon greese kept catching fire but they ate it anyway.

Amanda, Garrett and I went to see Harry Potter when it came out, which we all loved! I thought it was awesome, the movie had fantastic effects. It was missing some things that I really wanted to see. Roonil Wazlib anyone?

The four of us also went to a game farm or something. We brought loaves of bread to feed the animals. It was a lot fun, and slightly on the gross side, with the animals drooling on us. The bears were soo cool! Check out the video!

We also made it to the Lavender Festival in Seqium. I didn't take any pictures because there wasn't anything to take pictures of. The highlight of the festival was the lavender flavored ice cream Niki bought. It tasted like lotion, mmm.. haha.

So that's about it!

We learned a valuable lesson that day, it was, bring more BREAD!

Some of the animals we saw at the park.

Me, Garrett and Amanda freezing outside the movie theather at midnight waiting to watch Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince!!

Amanda and Niki fighting the beach with foam swords. Can't take them anywhere...
